I do believe my “white coat syndrome” is as a direct result of being made to feel stupid by doctors... I now avoid them as much as I can and dread entering any type of medical environment!

I had my sister once damn near come out of her chair and punch an LPN who was having trouble taking blood from my arm.
I had already told him that, because I'm small and have tiny veins, they need to use infant needles on me, which he completely ignored.
When he had trouble locating my vein, he then turned the syringe at a right angle to my arm . . . with the needle still under my skin.
I thought Carol was going to skin him alive. She did order him put of the room, and informed the head nurse that if he entered my room again for any reason, we would file assault charges.
The lack of basic caring and competence in some "health care" staff us staggaring.
Like you, I avoid allopathic doctors as much as possible, and am still seeking a primary care physician I can really like and trust.
