We have been walking a lot in the forest the last days. As September is the best month for mushrooms in Norway, they are popping up everywhere now. 😊
Fly agaric (Amanita Muscaria.)
My interest for natural medicine is still blooming.
I am looking into making tinctures from medicinal mushrooms. A friend of mine made an Amanita Muscaria tincture that worked great against menstrual cramps, so I am eager to make that myself.
While walking, I found a field with many young common puffball mushrooms.
I have read that they have pain relieving and wound-healing effects, so I am looking forward to try to make a tincture from those also.
Common puffball. (Lycoperdon perlatum.)
I love to harvest and use what I find in nature.
Finding my own medicines, teas and food is something I have close to my heart.
I always wanna learn more about medicinal mushrooms and herbs, and I love to show people that something they saw as useless, actually has healing properties or can be used when cooking.
My closest friends and I started @ambrosiacafe to share and gain wisdom about nature, healing and vegan food.
