#449 - A church visit back then.

Good Sunday evening my beloved Hiveans. It's our independence day here in the Philippines and everyone is commemorating it in different forms. Some spend their time with their families as the most common. Some even went to the capital city to witness the activities there where there is a flag raising and also air parade of our modern air assets. My family went to see a movie and we watched top gun Maverick starring the ever charming Tom Cruise. How was your weekend?

For our photos of the day, let me share some shots about a church that we visited back before. Marian orchard is the name of this church, a small church is a large area of land. The one thing that stand out about this church are the bells that are design this way outside. Fourteen bells are placed on top of each other and all are attached to a concrete base standing just outside the vicinity of the church.

There's also a wooden fence designed and it looks like a line of surf boards.😁

They have this terrace which also serve as a shade. It leads directly to the church on the higher level.

Another angle of the terrace. There are also paths all over the large land area. In here there are several stations of the cross which is a spot for pilgrimage.

Then there is this tall tree which I have never seen before. The tree has these flowers which are cream like in color and spread out like a dandelion.

A closer look of that flower above which is like a dandelion. The diameter of this flower is about the size of a grown man's fist or even bigger.

Here is one of the station of the cross spread all over this huge area of land. There's the wife posing with the trees all over the place.

That is an interesting tree. We celebrated my birthday this weekend. Nothing else too exciting went on. Some sick kids today. Sad. The bells at that church are really interesting. I bet my architect husband would really think that was cool looking. Happy independence day!
