A blend of garlic, insecticidal soap, and cayenne pepper diluted with water is what an organic gardener pal of mine uses to spray the plants with, and deter these ferocious eaters ! They also LOVE dill, so you might plant a container of dill nearby to attract them to that and discourage the tomato snacking. These rascals are enthusiastic eaters, for sure !!!
