visually, they look like being some relatives to champignons (like a Coprinus, as well -- which is edible and said to be more tasty than champignons...) would like you to find and test them... and would like to see more posts from you after that

An edible parasol grows here too but so do poisonous ones aka the green spored "vomiter". I even saw some growing in downtown chicago.

With the real Parasol you have to pay attention to the characteristics like the movable ring and the grained stem. If you cut off the stem, it must not turn reddish. There are other edible species, but there are also many deadly species in this genus!
