Sometimes a defect in a photo (in this case a motion blur of the bird's head) add a character to the image, instead of destroying it. Actually I like the blur in this image of common blackbird. It kind of makes the bird irritated with something
Long time I haven't connect... And here I am, to find this little black buddy with orange beak. On photo, there are sometimes what I call mandala lights (or orbs)... Those mandala lights are believed to be Deva (or angels). Here, on your photos, it is not mandala lights but for me, they are supposed to reflect the bird's thinkings... See how concentrated he is, like in meditation... So concentrated that all his thoughs are showing out and flying away like bubbles... ha!ha!
Long time indeed, happy to see you!
Those background lights called "bokeh" in photography world can add a lot to the character of the image indeed. But you went further and came up with a whole story of a poor struggling bird. I really enjoy how you see the world and my pictures as a special case of it :)
