We have a bird's nest, hidden inside a plant in our patio. Some days ago, my dad came and wanted to see the freshly hatched babies, but what he saw scared him, he presumed them all to be dead.
I thought that they maybe had pretended to be dead, and: tadaaaa! Yesterday, in the evening hours, I spotted a new member in the global community of naturally able to fly beeings.
You might not see it yet, but this one is a robin (readbreast). Only a few minutes after this picture had been taken, this little one made its first flight to a nearby table, where it kept waiting for the old ones to fly in with food.
