Egyptain goose a member of the duck and swan family and beautiful the are al over South Africa
The male is smaller as the female and is over 1000 years old they were uses as grad birds do make a lot of noise when disturbed.
They lay 20 to 30 eggs a year
As soon as I see the connection between Kruger and the Egyptian Goose, I feel disappointed to pick up the binoculars and, instead of some African rarity, these completely ubiquitous geese. After all, if you only have about a week to visit Kruger, you hope to see some rarity. Hopefully I'll come back there someday again.
When you come back let us know I have a farm in Tzaneen and every year bird lovers come and stop and ask if they can look at wild birds
😊 that would be nice.
