Good Day Steem! My post today is from one of the last stops on our road trip to Montana and back. Joleen and I had seen pictures of this hot spring on Instagram a while back but it didn't have a location or any directions, but Joleen did some google earth detective work and figured out where it was, and it just happened to be on the way home. Our reward for driving through the boring and desolate state of Nevada was getting to stay at this interesting hot spring in the middle of the desert.
The hot spring consisted of a man made soaking pool that overflowed into two big ponds that were cooler than the pool.
We arrived at the spring just as it was getting dark, and after dinner we got the entire place to ourselves. The next morning when the sun was up we got our first real look at the hot spring, realizing it was much bigger than we thought.
Someone dumped some koi fish into the bigger ponds and Joleen's dog spent hours chasing them!
