Hey everyone well this was a scary day, never let it be said that Africa is for the faint of heart. We recently received a frantic call from my Landlords daughter, the bluegum plantation is on fire...
Turns out one of the workers from a farm next to where our bees are situated decided to make a 'bonfire' in the middle of 'fireseason' luckily this was contained just before the forest if not untold damage, thank goodness it ended well.
Luckily this panned out ok, but it was a close call.
