Hi gang. Around two months ago, I was seeing a ton of stuff about "trails" on Steemit. Photo Trails, Art Trails, etc. I'm still not 100% sure what they are, to be honest. Anyway, around that time I made a post about actual trails we've hiked around on and it was pretty well received. I figured I'd do another edition of that tonight. Here's the first one, if you'd like to see what I'm talking about: Daily Nature Fix: Trails! REAL Trails. (Original Photos). Anyway, let's get started.
^^^This first one is heading down cliffside in the Grand Canyon. You can see Ky heading down those pretty rad looking steps on the left. Some of those trails were pretty harrowing, if you're not big on heights. Also, I just now realized it looks like Kylene is floating a few inches off the ground, for some reason. lol
^^^Here's another section of the trail down Mosaic Canyon in Death Valley National Park. If you look at the first trails post that I linked to above, you'll see a different section of this trial. THIS spot, though, was pretty awesome. Years of flash flooding, or even and extinct ancient river/stream carved smooth gouges into the bedrock. You can see my buddy Steve maneuvering his way down one of these crevices now.
^^^The actual trail is hiding in the shadows to the left of this panoramic photo, taken pretty high up in the mountains surrounding the village of Sete Cidades in the Azores archipelago. One of the coolest hikes we've ever taken.
^^^Started with one of Kylene climbing some stairs and ending with one of Kylene climbing some stairs. This was some cool looking jungle stairs in the Arenal Volcano national park in Costa Rica. I'm pretty big on cool looking Earthy stairs!
