RE: Cornell Lab of Ornithology: Rusty Blackbirds -- In Conservation Science, Knowledge Is Power

I hope well be @etcmike, what I understand is that the Habitat of these curious ave is affected by industrialization but are intelligent and perch in trees on the way to eat nuts that fall out of the truck and are crushed by the wheels. I would say that these birds have been seen forced to change its food niche to be able to survive. What could happen is that they overcome the extinction and evolve in a sub species. Thank you for posting quality content and genuine. Best regards
Saludos

I think the Rusty Blackbirds have an uncanny ability to adapt. Sometimes adaptation takes time and I have no doubt that Rusty Blackbirds will not go extinct (barring any extinction level event on this planet).

Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike
