"Air pollution may obliterate the sun." No serious person who is worried about climate change will ever give a shit about these so-called "predictions". Anyone who does simply can't tell the difference.

We won't be extinct in 12 years
I doubt you can get anyone on steemit to tell you they really think humanity will be extict within 12 years, unless they're trolling or just straight up idiots. But some people keep saying it over and over again like that EVER mattered! This is outrageously stupid of who does this!
Go die in a fire
Would anyone ever quote me saying this, accusing me of trying to pollute the enviroment? Noone would consider doing that. It would be trolling, obviously.
But the "last 50 years of failed climate predictions" mentioned in supposedly serious articles around the web bring shit up like someone saying pollution will obliterate the fucking sun!
Word of mouth...
...is completely irrelevant to a scientific issue. It either happens... Or it doesn't. If any of you want to tell the world how you think climate change is a hoax, use science. Not some "he said she said" bullshit.
However if some of you don't want to bother trying to understand how it all works, then shut the fuck up and stay out of it.
I’m sure there’s a lot of scientific predictions that came true. The 12 years is just a number and doesn’t talk about humans, there’s a lot of species going away before we exctinct ourselfs
Precisely so, thank you.
Always good to call BS. And a lot of the predictions and attribution of so-called causes are just that: BS.
But we here at ecotrain really want to see SOLUTIONS, adaptation ideas to a changing environment, positive strategies, inputs that enable others etc.... Looking fwd to part 2. :)
"Shut the fuck up and stay out of it" is not inclusive, community-based nor terribly helpful to the uninformed. But informing them is!! :) So what would you positively like to add to the discussion or inform people about, given everyone else has it wrong? THAT'S what we'd love to hear and support.

Ha, I didn't know ecotrain was a curation group. Sorry about that, I'm removing the tag right now. In case I post something offering solutions, I'll make sure I'll use it. Sorry again and thank you for the heads up!
We'd really welcome the flip side of this post! How DO we navigate the fear mongering? What sources of info ARE reliable? How do people adapt to seasonal change etc etc. We get upwards of 15 posts a day of people using the #ecotrain tag and manually curate them all. :) LOL....
We're particularly interested in eco-village and solution based alternatives.
Thanks for trying to clarify. :) Swing by for a coffee anytime you're in Northern Thailand. :)
I'll give that a shot later today.
Awesome. :)
