The largest spider in the world is in Venezuela
This specimen puts about 200 eggs a year, from which they hatch (that is, survive) more than half. The Goliath tarantula can live up to 14 years, just like a dog. And although its venom is not dangerous to humans, it is very aggressive and often emits a whistling noise that stuns when it feels threatened.
In addition to its large size, its main feature is that it is completely covered with stinging hairs that serve as a defense against its predators. Like all tarantulas, his method of attack consists of pouncing on his prey, nailing his poisonous fangs and paralyzing his victim. In some parts of the country they are hunted and eaten, for example, in the town of the Yanomami, in the state of Amazonas, the main habitat of this impressive spider.
