Traveling can actually change the way your brain works.

It is very clear that a good and fresh growth will do a lot for a person spiritually, mentally and physically. We live in a fast and chaotic world that is constantly in motion, so taking some time for yourself is a necessity. Science is now revealing how you can change your brain for good. Outdoor hiking can help prevent negative and uncomfortable thoughts  Many of us find themselves consumed by negative thoughts no matter how hard we try to control it. When we go for a hike or just walk in nature, one immediately begins to feel calm and can also reduce the fall. The proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences published a study which stated that spending time in nature could lower negative thoughts and embedded with a significant margin.

The researchers compared the reported account of the participants they asked - whether through the urban environment or in a natural environment. Both groups took an increase for about 90 minutes. It was found that those who walked in a natural environment reported much lower levels of negative thoughts. These people also had reduced nervous activity in a brain area that is responsible for mental illness. People walking in the urban environment did not experience the same reduced negativity.

Researchers drew a link between increasing urbanization and increasing cases of depression and a number of other mental illnesses. It is important to take time for ourselves and spend more time in nature.

Hiking without connecting to your equipment encourages problem solving.

Psychologists Ruth Ann Atchley and David Strayer conducted a study that found that creative problem solving could drastically improve if someone breaks out of technology and instead climbs into nature. The people who participated in this study went for an outdoor trip for a period of four days and were not allowed to use any kind of technology. They were given tasks that included creative thinking and complex problem solving. The researchers found that they in this technology-free growth had an improved 50% problem-solving ability. It is also noticed how much technology is extremely disturbing and destructive and urban noise. A good, fresh, long-lasting increase can help reduce mental fatigue and promote a person's ability to solve a problem.

Hiking outdoors can improve children's ADHD

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is one of the most common children's disorders now. Children who suffer from ADHD have a difficult time focusing, impulse control, get easily distracted and exhibit excessive hyperactivity.

A study conducted by Ph.D. Frances E Kup and Andrea Faber Taylor, PhD, found that exposure of children to outdoor / green outdoor activities helps to reduce these symptoms. The results of this study concluded that anyone could benefit greatly from exposure to nature and outdoors.

It's great workout and increases brain power

Science has already proven that drill, in general, is nothing but good for us. People who exercise outside are more likely to stick with it and not give up. Hiking is a great choice for those seeking to start and not give up. Researchers from the University of British Columbia found that gymnastics and Zumba increase the volume of hippocampal (part of the brain associated with spatial and episodic memory). Such a type of exercise helps in reducing memory loss and also helps in preventing it.

 How to Start Walking

Source

Hiking is far from one of the easiest and least expensive sports to enter. It can benefit literally every member of your family and friends. Begin to grow slowly and slow down the intensity of growth as you progress. Make sure you do what works for you even if it means walking. Any kind of exercise out is better than not doing any exercise at all. As you walk, make sure to turn off all your technology and concentrate on nature and other things. You can start every day, but just make sure you keep it up!

Love this post @helamia! This is certainly something I find true! The more I am outside connecting the nature the better I feel in my mind. I feel way less clouded, irritable, and wayyyy less negative.

We must get outside, and connect with nature on a daily basis.

oOO I also loved what you mentioned about kids with ADHD... I think it's true to adults just the same. Never been diagnosed, and refuse to get clinically checked out... BUT I likely have ADHD along with most people I know... Hiking definitely could help us all!

Thanks friend! Looking forward to following your posts!

Thats true indeed.
