Our garden has always had small wildlife live in it, visit it or just pass through it.
This baby Red Belly snake is just one of many that we've had in our gardens. The baby snake used to peek at me over a small pot while I gardened and I was okay with this but I had a toddler whose safety came first and so the local snake catcher lady was called out. Below is a photo of her holding the captured baby snake before she relocated it to the local wildlife sanctuary.
A large Red Belly snake sunbakes in my front of my yard each year, then it disappears and several babies slither their way through our yard but seems this one decided to stay.
