Most of the mighty oaks, here on the Island, were cut down eons ago for shipbuilding.
British Columbia has ancient Douglas fir trees and sequoias but I don’t know if they can match the California Redwood in bigness.
howdy redheadpei! Very interesting. I didn't even know Canada had Sequoias up there, I didn't think the growing season was long enough! lol.
Some parts of B.C. are like California in Canada.
Vancouver, B.C. has the mildest weather in Canada. In winter it’s usually rain instead of snow.
Oh that's amazing, no snow in Canada in the winter?? Yeah they are probably as liberal as CA too. lol. I try not to talk politics though so you can just ignore that statement. lol.
