The difference between the
above listed fact about plant
can't be ignored I will start by
explaining them
Shoot and root system
Shoot : Is the above parts of a plant that are not buried in the ground and they include the organs (leaves,bud,stems,flower and fruits) while
Root:are part of a plant that are buried in the ground and they include (root,tubes,rhizomes)
Monocotyledons and dicotyledon
•Monocotyledons :This are plant with one cotyledons (vein)
•Dicotyledon:This are plant wit two cotyledon
Tap and adventurous roots
• Tap root :Is a root that persists throughout the life of a plant

Adventitious root:Is a root that develop from any part of a plant expect redical.
Lateral and terminal buds
•Lateral bud are found on the side of plant while terminal bud occurs on the end of a stem.

•An annual plant:Is one which only goes through this cycle once.It grows in the rainy season and dies down during the dry season.Eg.schrankia
•A perennial plant :is one which continue growing from years to years and keep flourishing.it seed produce new perennials
•Herbaceous perennials :are plant whose aerial part perform less activity or dies down during the dry season.They have storage organs beneath the ground which supply them new shoot when the soil is moist again.Eg.Gladiolus
•Woody perennials :develops woody tissue in their steem and root ,they do not die during the dry season they store in tissue for extensive growth in the rainy season.Eg Delonix
