Glad to read that South Georgia Heritage Trust efforts for eradicating rodents become fruitfull. This reveals if you have will and dedication you can do anything. Hopefully poison rat baits didn't create advaerse impacts on other species.

It's indeed inspiring to see these big conservation efforts succeed! Really motivating for other projects where it seems impossible to "win".
I'm pretty sure the rat poison did not affect any other species, or else they would most likely have stopped after the first season. But maybe it will have long-lasting effects that we still don't know about?
