One of my favorite water activities is snorkeling. The ocean is such a magical and special place. I can easily spend hours snorkeling. There are always so many interesting creatures... most of which I have never seen.
@acromott @threebagsfull and I decided to treat ourselves, by hiring a private boat to take us snorkeling in four different spots around Koh Lanta. I was so delighted to spend all day in the water.
I love all of the coral formation. Sometimes it is hard for me to believe that nature created something so unique and beautiful.
I enjoyed seeing groups of fish swim around us.

I took my wife to Koh Samui and she bravely dived for the first time in her life. Maybe the next trip, I will take her to Koh Lanta. Lovely visibility I noticed from the pic.
By the way, what's the highlight at this wonderful place? Thanks for sharing!

This island is not filled with as many tourists, so you could easily find a beach to yourself! :)
amazing. I recommend you to do this thing in Mediterannean sea.
I saw people with these masks. Are they better than the regular snorkel?
I went to Koh Lanta 4 years ago. It's a very tranquil island but not a place you could live because you feel so relaxed when you get there that it would be so difficult to motivate yourself to do some work (Unless you are a millionaire of course, then this wouldn't be an issue you have to think about!)
hahah oh man.. sounds like we need to become millionaires quick! :P
Oh I love snorkeling, you're so fortunate! My favourite part was the jump into the water, that was a really cool shot. Great recording, enjoy your time!!!

For some reason the beach and water activities don't appeal to me when I travel.
Okay actually, that reason is that I am super pale so I burn easily. Super easily.
