Viewpoint at the town Hammerfest.

Arrived Hammerfest late evening yesterday and will be here some days. Got some nice pictures at the viewpoint before darkness. The sun can been seen until 9:00 in the evening. In a few weeks we have midnight sun here and the sun is shining 24 hours a day.

Well known landmark Håja outside the city Hammerfest.

We also have a landmark island Håja outside Tromsø.

They also tore down a lovely farm and replaced it with an ugly church modelled after the island

Midnight sun, that sounds unusual. It must make it hard to sleep. These photos are beautiful by the way, I love the orange of the sun.
