Snow is in the Forecast Today, but Yesterday was a Lovely Day.
I was outside for hours yesterday, barefoot and happy as "all get out". I was able to get my yard cleaned up a bit, and hang out with all my kitties. My kids headed to the park, and shortly after Dustin and I took the dog and followed suit. Last Day of February and it was nearly 60 degrees!!
While the kids played, I wandered back on to the nature trail.
I love the village we live in.
The first photo in this post was taken on the way to the park, there is a nature trail that replaced the railroad tracks that use to run through the village. This is a trail that runs nearly 46 miles through Michigan has an entrance a block away from my house. We spend a ton of time traveling it. A few years ago, when I was without a vehicle, I used this trail to safely walk the 7 miles to work a couple times a week. If you are ever in Michigan, I suggest you visit the trail, it's lovely.

Google Photos made this photo a bit brighter, but I rather like it, my dude and my dog are relaxing in the sun.
The sun was going down as we decided to head home, it stayed light outside until nearly 7PM, Hello Spring!
My dog found a gigantic stick!
Snap played fetch with this ridiculously large stick, he was in pooch heaven
Hopefully we experience more days like this soon. Michigan winters are hard, and although this winter was quite mild in comparison, it still was long and depressing. My kids are in a much better mood when they can get outside, get filthy and burn off a ton of energy. I will be buying them a new trampoline for Easter, and we will be getting their bikes fixed up soon.
Happy Kiddos,Happy Mama!
Thanks for Viewing, I hope your Thursday is Fantastic!

that park is really pretty<3 perfect for a walk and smoke a blunt , perfect to relax <3
Looks like you had a fun day... railroads tracks converted into trails are so great the way they carve right through nature and cities in a way that could never be possible today. Thanks for the link if I'm ever in the area I'll check it out.
My favorites railroad conversions:
The Highline Park in New York City
The Promenade Plantee in Paris.

Sounds like a lovely respite.
All the shots are great, but this photo is brilliant.
It's the simple things in life that nourish our soul the best.
What a very nice post.
(Now let me ruin it. First sentence I think you meant "to get out") ?
...the only reason I bring it up.. Is that I want your post to be as perfect as it really is... it's perfection at its best.
I already messaged you an explanation, but i figured I would post it here too :)

Yeah, I've heard the expression as "all get out" in my family as well, more when I was younger with my mom's side of the family. One of those old school "Golly Gee Wilikers" kinda expressions. lol
Once everyone was nourished and acclimated, our Glue Crew Leader Ray sat us in a circle. We partnered up to learn about eachother's childhood, family life, interests, and most embarrassing moment in life. We then had to share about our partner and tell the story of his/her most embarrassing moment as if it was our own.
I do not intend to sound boastful, I am merely so grateful for what happens each time we gather with old and new friends with the intention of creative play. Something magical happens when we gather together and fully engage in a little creative play. The conversations, laughter, and not to sound too cheesy, but real joy comes forth.
