Bonifacio Land side, sea side
For those of you who have already had the opportunity to spend time on the Island of Beauty, the pseudonyms of The City of Cliffs or The Picturesque Capital are a click that refers to what Corsica has most beautiful to offer us. Bonifacio and its cliffs over 60 meters high offer a spectacular Mediterranean show adorned with its finest attires. On the land side, no less than eight marked trails will allow you to discover, the edges of the cliffs, the Corsican maquis, the coves and incomparable beaches. These eight paths give access to a cultural and natural heritage typical of Corsica.
On the sea side, the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean with the islets and granite reefs of the Lavezzi Islands, south of Bonifacio, are an obligatory passage. You can admire the underwater wonders of the Corso-Sardinia International Marine Park. Bonifacio has a nature rich in rare and protected species that are gathered within the Nature Reserve of the Bouches de Bonifacio, itself managed by the marine park. You will understand that the culture and tradition of the cliff city are not limited to its paths and paradisiacal islands. They are part of a set that is unique to the Island of Beauty that attracts many visitors throughout the year.
