The Golden Fields.

in #nature7 years ago (edited)

Along my travels I noticed some super beautiful sights, amongst them was this beautiful field of golden poppies that lay along the side of the road.

No matter which direction you looked in, you would see fields of gold all around you.

I rarely see things like this in the Midwest so it was a real eye opener to see the yellow contrast with the green landscape.

In fact, these are harvested and used to make all sorts of essential oils such as your household cooking oil - which I thought was awesome considering that they go on for miles.

Nothing beats local goods and I’m happy to see that so many things here are grown and consumed naturally and locally.

Hope you all enjoyed seeing more of my travels, I’ll post more along the way!

Thank you all for your continued support, it truly means the world to me.
