The Leafy Seadragon

The Leafy Seadragon is probably the least dangerous dragon you can get. It is a lot like a seahorse, but it can't grip on things with it's tail and it eats tiny shrimp, plankton and amphipods. When I fist saw a video of one I thought is was a seahorse.

The "leaves" are there for camouflage, not to swim around. They have a small fin that moves really quickly which they use to float around like seaweed. They can also change their color to blend in with their surroundings. In the picture above you can see how good they are at camouflage.

Similar to seahorses, the males look after the eggs. The female lays it's eggs on the tail of the male and there they stay till they hatch and they are left on their own once they hatch. They are really beautiful creatures, but they are scarce and delicate. They only stay around the coasts of Australia, but they are also kept in aquariums all over the world because of the way they look.
