Wood ducks are considered one of the most beautiful birds in the world! They are found most everywhere in North America, except in high elevations. They nest in tree cavities, so nesting boxes like you will see in this video will attract them if it is near water. They are migratory. The male is the more colorful and the female more plain. I always like to see Wood Ducks as they are not real common in the area I live in. The Celery Fields has put up more nesting boxes to attract them. They have had some success. Below is a few pictures I got of one.
