Hello friends of steemit I come to tell you my visit to the national park sierra de la culata located in the state merida Venezuela.
When I arrived at this park, the first thing that caught my attention was this little friend who was in captivity. I was surprised when I realized that it was very big, very similar to a zamuro, it is a condor of the Andes.
The manager told us that this was the last one left because of the hunting, old beliefs said that the condor of the Andes took the little children.
As mentioned before is a species in danger of extinction this specimen is the last of merida in other places there is also still their small number is because they only put 1 egg every two years and its reproduction is very complicated before there was another specimen but it died of old, well cared for and fed up to his own little house.
The caretaker continues telling us that once he tried to bring a female to the park but it was not well received the thing got ugly and they had to take it away so there is no way to save the species in the park.
To finish I would like to say that it is incredible as such wonderful species are disappearing because of the human being through pollution and indiscriminate hunting should be aware that this world is shared we do not own it we have as much right to live as they DO NOT A THE INDISCRIMINATED HUNTING soon friends of steemit have a nice day.
