The tiny micro moths often go unnoticed. However, when we get in close, they are often quite striking in appearance. This one is Conchylis tasmaniana. It's one of the Tortrix moths (family Tortricidae). When I first viewed it on the screen I was quite impressed with the beauty of it's contrasting colour and pattern. I didn't have a chance to measure it but I'd estimate it to be be 10mm long (or less).
