Why do you love trees?

Because of the oxygen they provide?

Because of the shelter they provide to countless creatures?

Or because of the resources it provide us like fruits, wood, herbs and many other things.

But there is one more thing why people love trees a lot, because some of them are extremely beautiful.

A tree is a wonderful living organism which gives shelter, food, warmth and protection to all living things. It even gives shade to those who wield an axe to cut it down – Buddha.

Baobab Madagascar.

The baobab tree is a remarkable tree and holds a legendary status from many centuries in Africa, Australia and Madagascar, where it inhibits.

There are 9 species of baobab tree but the most beautiful among them is Madagascar baobab.

Every single part of baobab tree is useful.

The baobab tree stores large volume of water in its trunk which is why elephant chew its bark in dry season.

It provides shelter for many creatures like baboon, owl etc. The cream of tartar was originally produced from its seed pulp.

The circumference of largest recorded trunk of baobab tree is 47m. These huge trunks were used as jails, post offices and for many other creative uses a few centuries ago.

It is not unusual for these tree to live more than 1000 years, in fact there is a tree in south Africa that is said to be over 6000 years old.

Cherry blossam.

Cherry blossam is known as "sakura" in Japanese and it is their national flower. Picnicking beneath it is a Japanese tradition.

There is a centuries old custom in Japan called "hanami", which means flower viewing.

There are festivals organized called cherry blossom festivals which are spectacular at night. According to national cherry blossam festival, it is a symbol of friendship between USA and Japan.

Peak bloom in cherry blossom is near 4th july. The most iconic view of cherry blossams is from Mount Fuji. Several vantage points near the lakes make it a perfect point to take a picture of both blossam trees and snow capped volcanoes.

There are over 200 different varieties of cherry blossom in japan.

Angel Oak.

Angel oak is located in South Carolina. The tree is believed to be more than 400 years old.

It is 20 m tall and 8.5 m in circumference.

The shade of tree covers an area of about 1600m square.

Live oaks tends to grow more outward than upward. Its branches grow in all direction with some driving underground and again growing up above surface.

The tree is now property of state of Charleston.

The area around the tree also host many artistic and social events in summer and spring season.
