Para abrir un coco, yo primero busco el ojo que es más blando, (sabes que tiene tres ojitos) lo perforo y le saco el agua. Luego el coco, lo coloco sobre la llama de la cocina a fuego medio, hasta que se revienta solo. Cuando eso ocurre, tomas tu cuchillo, y extraes toda la pulpa, con facilidad. Te deseo suerte y así no usarás tantas cosas para abrir un coco. Saludos y cariños.
To open a coconut, I first look for the eye that is softer, (you know it has three little eyes) I pierce it and take out the water. Then I place the coconut over the flame of the stove at medium heat, until it bursts by itself. When that happens, you take your knife, and extract all the pulp, easily. The hardest part though is getting through the husk and down to the 3 little eyes. I always picture a mouse because it looks like a fuzzy mouse two eyes and little mouth.
