Here in Egypt there are many spiny trees. Cacti and aloe, which grow higher than me! In Ukraine, I saw these plants only in pots on the windowsill :)
One tree had a very solid barrel, all covered with huge sharp spines, like a giant hedgehog. Dangerous beauty! I did not remember his name, but I made an exciting photo. Did you see such a tree?
