RE: Beautiful atmosphere in the village

in #nature7 years ago

That is true. Village life is indeed rich in so many ways. The air you breathe in the village is so fresh due to the presence of enough green plants which are suppliers of oxygen. On like the city where the air is contaminated with dangerous chemicals being burned into the air on daily basis due to industrial activities. How about gas rain, and gas flare. Linkages of dangerous chemicals on transit, so many chemical producing companies release their affluents and chemical waste in the open gutters. Concentrations of motor vehicles and motorcycles have overwhelmed the air people breathe in the cities with thick dark smokes and dust. These are the reasons for the various health challenges most people are faced with in the cities. This is one of the reasons why cancer cases are more rampant in the cities, ulcer cases is on the increase, heart problems and kidney damages. The free radicals produced by all those air contaminators damage the body cells and the immune system after inhaling. Thereby exposing the body system to contact so much diseases which go direct to the body cells and cripple it. The truth is longevity is threatened in most of our industrial, commercial and concentrated cities than life in the villages. The solution to these problems is for the government to take proactive actions by compelling concerned industries to look for better ways of disposing chemical waste, and to adopt safe handlings of chemicals either on transit or at the station to prevent spillage. Cities should also be decongested of motorcycles and some of the motor vehicles and heavy trucks which are not in good condition but still plying the roads should be banned due to their thick smokes. City dwellers should also maintain a proper and constant medical check up to know the status of their health. However, both the urban centres and the rural areas, each have its advantages and disadvantages. But we must also know that health is wealth. It's a very nice issue you raised @husnantb. I commend you for calling everyone's attention to this. It is an issue that has to do with health thereby our society must take prompt actions to reduce the risk industrial activities is posing to health at the urban centres. Thanks for sharing, it's a nice post.
