The Naval Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Epiphany (the patron saint of all travelers, including by sea).
It is the first sea cathedral. It is a magnificent monument of the architectural style of the Baroque. The temple became a place of commemoration of sailors who died during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905. In their memory here are memorial plaques.
Its construction was completed in 1762.
The St. Nicholas Epiphany Church is a symbol of the blessing of St. Petersburg as a city of marine glory.
