As life would have it, Monster Truck the Pepper and I randomly wound up at the lake today. It's part of a much bigger story, but for now I wanted to share these beautiful bird photos that I took while we enjoyed our time. See what you think!

Love the photos of all the beautiful birds, @papa-pepper! Reminds me of all the times we took our boys down to the river to feed the birds. Those were good times and I didn't think the boys would remember. The other day my 32-year-old son called me and invited me to accompany him and my granddaughter on a picnic at a lake about a 2-hour drive from us. He said it would be like old times with a new generation...
