This was kind of interesting, and we saw a lot more than I would have thought.
As a steemian, I keep my camera at my side, or at least I try to. Much like in my Birds at the Lake posts, I like to photograph wildlife from the vehicle when I don't have enough time or opportunity to do any more than that.
Even this photo was taken out my truck window since the Cardinal was sitting roadside. Here are a collection of birds that we saw on our way out of Wisconsin. Some photos are better than others, but they include some ducks, Sandhill Cranes, and even a wild pheasant. Check out how close to the road the pheasant and cranes were, since I chose a few photos that included the rear-view mirror, just to help people appreciate how close these creatures were. Enjoy!

Until next time…

Nice photos. I also love the wildlife. And I have my camera as well close to me when driving, just in case I see an animal that I can capture with the camera. I'm looking forward to the actual start of spring here, so I can see some more animals.
Last week I was able to capture these from within my car.
Wow! Excellent job!
Thanks
Badass shots!
Considering they were from inside a running vehicle, yes, they are alright! Thanks!
Your welcome! I really like the spoonbill shots. Some people call them a trash duck but I always enjoyed hunting them.
Wow. These are beautiful pictures. I think I will also need to get a very good camera that I will always take along with me anywhere I go
Yes, a good camera helps a lot!
You sure do have a lot of birds over there in Wisconsin. All we've got here are vultures and owls...lol.
Just kidding.
LOL!
@papa pepper the birds are naturally beautiful and I see you have a good camera at your disposal. Wish I could know their names.

You keep getting better at this. I doubt I could do better. Constant use bring about perfection. Well done Papa. I like the way you always take advantage of every moment. Nothing passes you by. Hahaha
I do practice about every day. Thank you!
I trust you sir.
These are gorgeous photos. It is amazing just how close those wild birds are to the side of the road. I think the word has gotten out that they are safe when @papa-pepper is around!
Always Love to see the Sandhill cranes, with there long legs .
Birds are a joy to sit and watch.
I haven't seen a Cardinal for awhile. It is the State bird of Indiana!
I liked that coloured bird.. so beautiful... And the last two shots too are amazing... Look like that cardinal is a good habitat for bird's 🤗
Hello, beautiful birds and the shots of the photos capture a good angle, greetings @papa-pepper
well done, such fascinating birds! keep up the good work :)
How amazing they are if no one hunt them, not like in my hometown they would not be able to stay that close to human, otherwise the will be cooked. the wild pheasant is really nice one even little far. nice to see those @papa-pepper
