Howdy sir papilloncharity! I agree, to think that these are over 2,000 and 3,000 years old just boggles the mind! I hope they never have a forest fire there.
A fire will indeed cause serious damages and I wonder how long a tree of that girth will burn. How would they get hoses with water up to the top of the trees?
