The Muttart Conservatory in one of Edmonton's best attractions, in my opinion. Year round greenery is much needed with our snowy winters and drop in programs, tours and special events make for excellent learning opportunities. Visiting several times a year is worthwhile not only for the changing Feature Pyramid, but also to see the seasonal changes in vegetation in their permanent exhibits.
Their spring themed Feature Pryamid opened up earlier in March, entitled Candycopia. The bright colors and candy theme are magical and the wonderful aroma of tulips and daffodils is enough to make you forget there is still snow on the ground outside.
Visiting the Muttart is a springtime favorite for all of us. Easter Sunday is especially fun, with bonus family activities and a visit with bunnies from the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Candycopia is on until April 15, so be sure to take in this feast for the senses before then.
