Yeah, we also had a big storm here and because we don't get any bad weather usually in the UK the press went crazy! Hurricane Ophelia, they were telling us, could see 90 mph winds, flying debris etc. Schools in Ireland were closed for the day and you would think from the stories in the newspapers that the world is about to end, Armageddon! In Liverpool, we also only got winds about 40 - 50 mph and even my very rickety greenhouse stood up to it fine, no broken glass.

Nice! Yes, the press does get a little crazy when storm season comes. I did happen to notice that hurricane that was headed for Ireland...a bit of a head-scratcher for me since most of the big ones seem to nail the southern coast of the US. Glad to see your gem of a greenhouse has weathered the storm!
