Tonight there was thunder and lightning where we are. So I explained Little L that you can know how far from our location the lightning strikes by counting the seconds in between the light ing and the thunder.
And because the era we live in is one with apps for everything, I found an app for that. It is called Thunder Storm and it is really easy to use. Just press when you see the lightning and press again when you hear the thunder. The app will now tell you how many seconds in between and how far a distance the lightning struck. Also you can see a circle on the map with your location so you have an idea how far that was frome your location.
