Lemurs are one of the well-known and popular nationalities of Madagascar. The fluffy animals with the big eyes and the beautiful soft-looking skin, originally come from Madagascar and are native to the island off the east coast of Africa. As a forest ghost, shadow of the deceased and many other names, the shy, cute lemurs are always to be found in the forests of Madagascar.
Past month US researchers have developed a system for facial recognition and differentiation of lemurs. The cute semi-monkeys with patterned fur live exclusively on the island of Madagascar, but are threatened with extinction.
