I couldn't take pictures this year of the Paulownia tree blossoms in the garden.
You know that everything changes every year with plants and nature, and the trees behaved weird last year, when I was waiting for them to bloom for so long, yet they didn't do it.
This year is not much different.
There were blossoms at some very high and inaccessible parts of the trees, where the camera of the phone couldn't reach them (do you distinguish them in the picture above at all?)
(Here they are more or less more visible.)
There were also blossoms on one single branch of one of the trees, which was also quite unreachable and which had to be cut away from the tree because this tree, this tree species turned out to be quite dangerous (I told you about it in a post before).
So I was able to take a picture of them only when the branch was cut off.
This was the only way to take close-ups. Otherwise it wasn't possible.
Yeah, I know these are kind of sad pictures. The blossoms are already fading, the branch is cut off, i.e. dead.
But I must tell you that for the first time I was not sad at this sight.
Because this tree has already done enough damage in the garden. And somehow reaffirms the thesis that beauty is deceptive. Both in the human and in the plant world.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Hello dear friend @soulsdetour good morning
Nature has changed a lot in the last decades, around here we also see this type of behavior in the blooms of the trees
It is hard to believe that a plant with such beautiful flowers is harmful
I take this opportunity to wish you a beautiful day
Hi dear friend @jlufer! I've written about this tree before, so I didn't want to repeat myself. I am really very disappointed with it. Or rather, disappointed by the people who years ago, without having enough knowledge about it, planted it in the yard of the house where I live now. Probably because of its beautiful flowers in spring and its huge leaves that shade in summer. But, nature can be very mean and bad sometimes. 😁
Have a beautiful day you too! 🌷☀️
