Welcome to Parque Nacional de las Cañadas del Teide
El Teide is a friendly giant that gives Tenerife its unique character, scenery, and charisma.
The name El teide comes actually from the words "guanche echeide" that means Hell.
This is the most natural and unreal place I have seen on Tenerife Island, you will feel like on the moon, the scenery is very surprising and completely different from the rest of the island.
The drive to the top is short and beautiful, you will notice the vegetation and the landscape will change progressively.
If you fancy a cup of coffee or some foods you will find a lot of cafe and restaurants on the road so do not panic while you are climbing the mountain.
I highly recommend this place if you want to have a great escape on the awesome Tenerife Island
