Looks quite different from the woodpeckers I had in Canada. There was a hole in our cedar siding of the house (a knot hole that fell out) in which a woodpecker made his nest. That one was insane: he would sit on the streetlight pole in front and hammer on the steel post. That noise was like a wake-up call heard throughout the neighborhood.
