It’s been a fairly short amount of time that I’ve spent on Steemit, but I’m pretty sure the sooner I post- the better! For many reasons. Anyways, hello and welcome!
(Fresh sprout, just like my Steemit!)
No matter who or what you believe may have created the Earth, what we do know is what we can see. 👀 We know that there is the ground we walk upon. 👣 The sun we gaze upon. ☀️ The trees we rely on. 🌳 But, where did it all come from? It thrives without us, and it was here before we were! So, where did it come from?
💭
(Whorled!)
Nature is the easiest way to see that what we call “Life” is no coincidence. You see creative 🎨, intelligent 💡🧠 design. Actual geometry. 📐Math equations behind how leaves arrange themselves. This is not random. It wasn’t just, 🚫 “First there was nothing, and then it exploded 💥 and then there was everything 🌎✨.” 🚫
(Two-Rowed!)
(Two-Two Rowed?..!)
Phyllotaxis is the perfect example of design. Literally, it is “the arrangement of leaves on an axis or stem.”
Before I knew of the varying geometries used in nature, I would’ve never truly given it much thought! I may have noticed, but more likely than not I would have shrugged it off. Now, knowing of its existence and that there are even terms used to describe these patterns, it’s impossible to miss! I’ve become obsessed... slightly.
(Opposite and Decussate!)
Not only this, but there’s also the Fibonacci Sequence in nature. The Golden Ratio. 🌀 This Ratio forms nature-ly. 🌱In what grows (and thrives) outside of our control. It is not a building, or a car, or a desk. It is a plant. (Yes, GMO, etc. etc. Besides all of that).
The Golden Ratio doesn’t stop at plants though. Phyllotaxis (the word) was only created to explain plants, but the design is everywhere! From the Cosmos of Creation 🌌, to a kiwi 🥝, an ear 👂🏽, or even a snowflake ❄️, we see the signs of creation. 🆒
Remember! 🧠 You can look any of this up for yourself, and I encourage you to.
If you read it all, thank you! For taking your time out where I’ve put time in. 🙂
amazing post i love it
Thank you, @tomthomas!
Wow! You are so organised and informative! I love the type of information you shared.
Thank you, Alexsandra! That means a lot to me.
I hope you found the info insightful! Don’t forget about it next time you’re walking in nature with a friend or family member. 😉
Fractals ! from simple equations come infinite complexity.
Great post+ observations. I'm following! Look forward to more.
Sometimes i post about natural stuff like this.
Thanks! I know, isn’t it amazing? The infinite complexity 😱 I’ll make sure to not let you down and check you out as well. It’s 3:02 AM right now, so it’s probably not the best time. 😅
Natural life is the best life. 🙂
