Red Jalapeno Pepper

Both of the flowers above have been growing in my yard many years now.
They come back from either roots(Turks Cap)
or seeds(Red Autumn Sage) every spring.

Have a Blessed Day!

Nice assortment of reds for this Red Monday :) I like the shiny rich jalapeno pepper

Good clicks as usual but red bud is the best .

I love that red autumn sage in particular @violetmed. I don't think I've seen that flower before. 😊

So nice pictures. is red Jalepeno pepper is spicy? I really love spicy foods and spicy pepper with rice and pulses is favorite to me.

Yes these peppers can be quite spicy, but you can remove the seeds to make it less hot before you cook with it.

@violetmed nice flower of Turkish caps with the beautiful intense red color. Seductive the color of the flower. And the jalapeño pepper is spectacular and big. The pepper is delicious. That one looks pretty well taken care of. Today in your yard the color red predominated. Which is about joy and passion. Happy night. Happy night. A big hug, dear friend.

Good color to start the day,@violetmed. Red is energy, passion. With those words in mind let's start the week by injecting encouragement into everything we do. In my country, jalapeño is used to make spices, but also to make jams. Just like they make marmalades with a flower like the Turks Cap called cayenne blossoms. That flower is also used to make shampoo and tea. A hug

Yes, my husband and I like to cook with jalapeno! I like to use just a little bit, but my husband loves lots of hot pepper in or on his food.

whoa bright colors today violetmed! ya'll must have the most awesome yard in Texas!

Well, I wish, but I do try to have some kind of flowers blooming all spring, summer and fall. The 107 degree days kind of put a damper on some of the flowers, but they seem to be coming back.

howdy again on this fine Monday night violetmed! well it's quite a beautiful hobby to have, I guess everything goes dormant in the wintertime right?

Almost, except my holly bushes!

Red is one of my favorite colors, @violetmed. Red and blue, although there are very few blue flowers. I don't like the spice at all! A hug

I love red flowers, @violetmed! They're so beautiful and they mean so much. The jalapeños you have in your garden? I imagine you wear special gloves to pull them out. A nice Monday for you.

Well, we just cut them off the vine and yes try to not to touch the peppers with our bare fingers when we cut them up for cooking!

Those jalapeños reminded me of a time when I went, as a child, to a friend's house and there was a jalapeño bush in his house. I remember that out of mischief and curiosity I started one. I cried at how spicy my hands got. Hahahaha. That was a lesson to me: I never broke a bush again! Greetings, fair lady.

Haha, yes a lot of children learn the hard way about touching and playing with pepper plants!

Hot looking pepper. :-)

Yes, this one turned from green to red a few days ago, so we cut it today and it should be hot when we chop it up to cook with it!
