I just took photos of the bark all of the different trees I have in my yard and I came up with some very interesting photos!
Lots of interesting lichen/moss growing on the trees.
Hope you enjoy!
Live Oak Tree Bark
Red Oak Tree Bark
Look at the roots of this Red Oak!
Golden Raintree Bark
Red Bud Tree Bark
Another one of the Red Bud Tree Bark - see the holes in this tree bark?
Probably the work of some hungry woodpeckers.
We see carpenter ants on this tree a lot!
Pecan Tree Bark
One last bonus shot of the pecan tree with a children's bicycle horn.
My daughter tied that on the tree branch about 14 years ago and the tree branch grew around it!
She and her brother, cousins, friends loved to climb the trees and play.
Have a Blessed Day!

@violetmed Impregnating as the barks vary in lighter tones and others a little darker. The roots of the red oak tree are strong resistant and large. The gigantic root covers a lot of ground. The mosses that grow on the trees with a lovely color look beautiful. Friend, thank you for showing us today different types of tree bark from your yard. How super interesting. The trees have a nice story of the bugle tied to the rope and the children playing in it. Happy night, my friend.
Haha, thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my story!
Thanks to you, my dear friend. You made me remember my childhood too with your daughter's story. I used to climb trees to pick fruit. Anon, mango, guava and anoncillo were my favorite. Happy day to remember.
I have always been interested in these microorganisms and their function. I am impressed by how they symbiosis with the trunk and branches of the trees as if they were part of the wood. In particular, I have seen how some are able to wrap the whole tree. Interesting your publication today, @violetmed. Beautiful night.

Botty loves you. <3
I look at these pictures and it reminds me of the times when I was a kid I climbed trees. He was an expert!! In my house there were many fruit trees. Some had ants and always stung me, but it was worth it because I ate the sweetest mangoes and the most delicious guavas. Thank you for those pictures, beautiful lady.
You are welcome! Oh yum, I love mangoes! That sounds like something a kid would do! Thank you for stopping by!
Those are beautiful pictures, @violetmed. Your garden must be very wet! I am struck by the childish object tied to the tree. This testifies not only to the passage of time, but also to the nobility of trees. Beautiful night.
Sometimes we get a lot of rain and other times, we can go weeks with no rain! So I guess these might be all lichen and not moss! I'm not an expert on it!
La piel de los árboles son como la de algunas personas, @violetmed. Creo que algunos árboles viejos tienen más surcos y musgos. También tiene que ver con la humedad, supongo. Saludos!
Cool selection of trees photos :) Red Oak roots are neat with the shadows
Amazing pick .i love this story.
Everyone have childhood story .
Thank for giving such awesome click &story...
@violetmed
All looking nice and beautiful. Thank you for sharing and thanks for yesterday
You are welcome!
Great idea for tree Tuesday @violetmed.
Do you get nuts off your pecan tree? 😊
Every 2-3 years we get a really good crop, but... the squirrels start eating them while they are still green!! So we just can't compete with them and end up not being able to eat any!! When we first had it 25 years ago, there weren't any squirrels in our new neighborhood and we actually got to eat some! :)
Oh. That's a shame @violetmed. It would be great to pick and eat fresh pecans.
Grey squirrels are beginning to be quite a pest nowadays, even in the city. I often see them running along the back wall or hear them on the roof.
That's a good perspective. From the looks of it I can imagine them looking like rocky mountain bed or mountain cliffs. Very nice.
Oh your daughters horn is beyond cool!
Haha, yes, forever a part of this tree!
Interesantes fotografías, excelentes muestras ecológicas, @violetmed.
