33 hours in 20 seconds.

This tadpole time lapse is super weird, but mesmerizing to watch. The microscopic film was able to capture an egg cell dividing and dividing itself into oblivion. It's a real-life voronoi pattern in action.

Here's to the humble beginnings of Rana temporaria, or "the common frog."

Beautiful, and somewhat humbling...

Thanks for sharing

:) Glad you enjoyed it!

One of the many reminders that everyday occurrences in nature are marvelous magnificent works of art! So beautiful, and watching this is a perfect way to close down my day, thanks!

And, I didn't know the meaning of the word "voronoi".....you picked the perfect moniker :-)

In mathematics, a Voronoi diagram is a partitioning of a plane into regions based on distance to points in a specific subset of the plane.

Hey thanks @natureofbeing glad you enjoyed it! And you bet, voronoi patterns pop up everywhere... I thought this post would be a fun play on my moniker :)

nice

science is very nice :)

Amazing! For me that is evidence of God!

It's fascinating!
