I've always had weakness for aquariums, since I was a boy. They're beautiful and absolutely relaxing. Here is a little sample of the aquarium I've got at home at the moment.
Siempre he tenido debilidad por los acuarios, desde que era pequeño. Me parecen preciosos y absolutamente relajantes. Aquí tenéis una pequeña muestra del acuario que tengo ahora mismo en casa.
MY 53 GALLONS AQUARIUM
MI ACUARIO DE 200 LITROS
This is a fresh water aquarium, with tropical fish and plants. The temperature is about 75-80 ºF.
Es un acuario de agua dulce, con peces y plantas tropicales. La temperatura es de unos 24-27ªC.

Pez asombroso: fuerte, elegante, majestuoso y... ¡¡¡se está haciendo enorme!!!

Para mí uno de los peces más bonitos que he tenido en mis acuarios. Su color es negro aterciopelado y rojo fuego.
GYRINOCHEILUS AYMONIERI: Siamese algae-eater - 'Chupa Algas'
Sin duda no es el más bonito, ni el más elegante... pero a mí me encanta :D
In the last weeks I just have time to change the water and cleaning the bottom, but when you see the aquarium without algae... it's simply spectacular. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!!
En las últimas semanas sólo he tenido tiempo de cambiar el agua y limpiar el fondo, pero cuando ves el acuario sin algas... es sencillamente espectacular. ¡¡¡ESPERO QUE OS HAYA GUSTADO!!!

Nice post, I used to have some tanks as well when I was younger. Often thinking about getting one again :-) A very easy way to make it look even nicer, is to put some black or blue foil or cardboard behind the back glass of the tank. It will bring out the contrasts of the plants and fish even more!

Me encanta los Acuarios algun dia me gustaria tener uno de ellos asi como el tuyo,yo de pequeño solo tuve algunos pecezillos en una pecera muy pequeña,pero siempre quise tener uno grande:-),estoy seguro que algun dia voy a Tenerlo en mi casa apropiada para ello y que nunca les falte de nada,buen post muy bonito tu Acuario

Yo creo que es el post que combina ciencia, inteligencia , arte, naturaleza, hogar (sweet home), didáctica, pedagogía, ingenio, perspicacia y sobre todo pasión por la obra bien hecha, rotunda, acabada, perfecta. Yes @condra, it belongs to the family. It's funny because it's always cleaning the glass, getting stuck to it :)
those fishes looked very attractive!. That one fish you called "Bartolo" looks fierce and discreet

Great water glass ;) My father used to have it in the kitchen. I remember the Scalar fish was as big as my dad hand and believe me he had a big hand;)Thx for sharing ;) Upvote
It is big @margaretwise, and as it gets older is getting a little bit aggressive... but the other fish know that it's the king of the aquarium :D Thanks for the comment!!!

Awesome tank! I might just make a post showing mine. I have a smaller 10 gallon but it's still fun. Might upgrade to a 50 one day, are they harder to manage? Running fulva c2 on mine and the water is always crystal clear.
If you have the equipment I don't think it's harder to manage. I'm using CO2 and the plants make the rest. But sometimes algae show up... and that's a pain in the ass... Tell me when you post yours and I'll definitely have a look @gre3n :)

Good job with your aquarium and its inhabitants. Fishkeeping is a good hobby. True that the hobby requires continued maintenance but the benefits of stress relief and the enjoyment of watching the fish are worth the work. :)
I'd be cautious of the saimese algae eater though. Over time it may get aggressive to your other fish and can outgrow your tank.
Siamese is too small to be a problem... and everyone in the tank knows who's the boss.. :D Thanks a lot for the comment and the advises @vangfo!!!
