Hello Steemians,
Location: The Kruger National Park, South Africa.
These types of sightings don't come around in ones life very often if not ever.
Late one afternoon a Leopard was spotted at a local watering hole. There is nothing quite like photographing the big cats in the Wild with their immense power and radiant beauty so i always take the opportunity when one arises.
This time was a little different though.
After enjoying a moment with this Leopard some Warthog approached for an afternoon quench. With the Leopard immediately alert, focused for lunch and the Warthog completely oblivious to the predators presence the action was in motion. My heart was pumping as this was to be my first witness of a kill in the wild. The Leopard leaped into chase and the Warthog dispersed faster than sonic the hedgehog. I couldn't believe the speed of these tiny piglets. They actually managed to get away leaving a very embarrassed kitty behind.
I hope you enjoy the photos and if you like please follow me @wildinafrica
Much love and blessings

Thank you @vj1309
Beautiful captures. I didn't realize warthogs are that massive.
Some Warthogs are massive. This is the mother of these piglets. The Males are even larger. Thank you for your response:)
