RE: Landscape of Cuba: picturesque valley in the Vinales National Park

That is a beautiful photo! Now you guys are inspiring me to go to a location. I've heard a lot of good things about Cuba. But I'm a bit skeptical, I hear you'rw either swept off to a vacation like setting, or your in some piss-poor dangerous real life barrio; where that AC repair guy you mentioned in Mexico may not even exist! let alone return a week later! lol

I hear so many mixed stories about this country, and being a semi-propagandized American......it's a country I have a hard time wrapping my head around.

One thing is for sure, this post and this photo is awesome. Steem-on brother!

You are right Dan, this country is very special. I mean really unique. We never do the vacation-like stuff but I wouldnt say we ended up in what you described as the second option... In fact, Airbnb is growing strong in Cuba and I was surprised by the range of choices we had. However, getting anything from food to basic every day life supplies might still be a major struggle. But its really hard to describe Cuba. I think everyone need to see it for themselves to form an opinion on it :)

Thanks for the comment my friend :) Have a good one!

Haha no problem :)) I am sure there still are places that look just like you said in Cuba but fortunately, things are changing for the better ;)
